CarGurus promote a fun social atmosphere and there are several cross-functional projects where you are able to offer feedback and build relationships.

I'm a huge fan of our company stock plan but I like that we get we paid on commission throughout each quarter instead of just at the end of it.

Our leadership team is extremely transparent and intentional about planning and receiving feedback. At CarGurus you truly feel your voice is heard - there is a sense of being in the room where it happens.
What is most positive about the culture and environment at your company?
CarGurus is a larger company that maintains a bit of a start up vibe. The micro-kitchens fully stocked, the company takes care of lunch, there are plenty of company-wide as well as DEIB or ERG related events/sessions.

The company is extremely intentional about everyone's different background and preferences. CarGurus does a great job of surprising employees with gratitude gifts, hold open discussions around sensitive topics, and makes room to ensure there is fun and team bonding included in our balance.

Our leadership team is extremely transparent about company goals and how each team and individual can work toward achieving them. Best of all leader ship understands that there is no one right way and are always open to feedback and adjustments with regard to strategy.
What are some of the best things about your team?
And most companies say this but I feel it is true with Carter is, we are extremely collaborative and everyone is open to feedback and find common ground to share their voice. You never feel any meeting is too big for you, and there's always opportunity to be heard.
What makes you most happy at work?
I like that my work is challenging and that I can raise concerns that will allow for adjustments in overall strategy & planning. I feel this can be said by a new hire only a few months in or a veteran that has been with CarGurus for years. Everyone has the ability to make an impactful contribution.
