CarGurus' team is not just smart but approachable and kind. They are real people who care deeply about our company, culture, and people.

They are really thoughtful, down-to-earth, inclusive, and open to feedback. They are great business people and have incredible vision but are very approachable and appreciative of how we all help their vision become a reality.

What are some of the best things about your team?

People are always so generous with their time and guidance. Plus they are interesting people who have lots of unexpected talents and hobbies outside of work. I love learning more about them over our (free!) lunch

What is most positive about the culture and environment at your company?

The strong sense of community. I may not know everyone in the whole org yet but I feel 100% comfortable posting on the company-wide Slack channel or asking a question of someone I see in the hallway. The welcoming and inclusive culture makes you feel instantly connected.

What is the best part about your compensation package?

Everything is so thoughtful - especially our leave policies. We have unlimited personal time off to use for things like doctor's appointments and teacher conferences, and great parental leave that includes a 15-day gradual return to work option for the primary caregiver to help them ease back in.
