Understanding the business, leading teams, caring about people at all, managing anything. Honestly, they need to get out of their offices in Florida and actually try to interact and spend time with employees. They are stretching people too thin. High expectations when the company cant deliver basics
Collaboration between business units - not fixing this will cause Carrier to shed businesses.

Being realistic. Asking questions. Listening to the associates.
treating people fairly. Some people have done some very very bad things and still have a job. Some other ones are not that lucky
Pay me for the value I bring to the role and the company. You have to cut a significant amount of the workforce to meet financial targets, but executives get massive compensation and bonuses?
I have performance that benchmarks high in the organization, but the HR team makes a lot of excuses why they cannot level set.
No bonus plan for full time employees

Compensation would be ok for a normal workload. For the expected workload, compensation should be at least double.
Greater consistency in communication and follow-through would improve how we work together. Clearer ownership of tasks and more regular alignment would help the team collaborate more effectively.
Coworkers would be better if they weren’t as stress
The company culture would improve significantly if there were a stronger balance between shareholder priorities and employee well-being. Currently, decisions appear heavily weighted toward shareholder value at the expense of employee engagement, morale, and long-term sustainability.
Management need to change from the top down.
Leadership and realistic expectations. Leadership could at least pretend to care about people. HR and the executive leadership team are a joke.
Accountability and middle manager empowerment.
Listen to the employees. Give back to the associates who are giving to the company.

Gitlin and his team run the company like a financial services company, not a product producer and integrator. Their focus is all wrong.
New middle management leadership is needed.
