While this is one of the lowest-stress companies in retail, there is a lot to be desired: from communication, marketing, allocation, asset protection, payroll allocation. Lots of gaps that make the job more frustrating than rewarding on many occasions.
What would you improve about your company's interview process?
Get rid of assessment- it prevents quite a few candidates from completing application process.
What is most positive about the culture and environment at your company?
Our local team is solid, and loyal, even through hours keep getting squeezed out of the stores.
What do you like best about the leadership team?
They pretend to care about employees as one of their core values, but when push comes to shove, the employees are the first to take the fall.
Why do you feel undervalued and what would make you feel better about your compensation?
The lack of payroll hours due to increased minimum wages, the increase in workload on reduced hours, the employee expense of benefits are all sources of dissatisfaction.
What's going wrong and how can it be improved?
Again- if the investment was made into the people (entire staff) running the stores, through hours allocated and available training time, the overall morale and turnover would improve no doubt company wide.
