Mr. Neil Smit has been Vice Chairman of Comcast Corporation since April 1, 2017, Mr. Smit served as the Chief Executive Officer and President of Comcast Cable Communications, LLC since December 2011 and March 2010 respectively until April 1, 2017. Mr. Smit served as senior Executive Vice President of Comcast Corporation since July 31, 2015 until April 1, 2017 and served as its Executive Vice President since January 28, 2011. Mr. Smit served as the Chief Executive Officer, President and Director of Renaissance Media Capital Corporation, CCH II Capital Corp. and Renaissance Media (Louisiana) LLC. He serves as a Secretary of National Cable & Telecommunications Association. He served as the Chief Executive Officer and President of Charter Communications Holdings LLC. He served as the President of Aol Access Business at AOL LLC (Alternate name America Online, Inc.) and Historic AOL LLC. Mr. Smit previously worked at Time Warner, Inc. since 2000. Mr. Smit served as the Chief Executive Officer, President of Charter Communications Inc., the Manager of its various affiliate companies from August 22, 2005 to February 28, 2010 and CCO Holdings Capital Corp. until February 28, 2010. From December 2004 to August 19, 2005, he served as President of AOL, LLC's Access Business. Earlier, Mr. Smit served as a Senior Vice President of AOLs product and programming team and Chief Operating Officer of AOL Local. He also served at America Online (AOL) as Executive Vice President, Member Development. Prior to joining AOL in 2000, Mr. Smit spent 10 years in the consumer packaged-goods industry. He served as a Regional President with Nabisco. He served as the Chief Operating Officer of MapQuest. He held Management positions with Pillsbury. He began his career as a Navy SEAL and rose to the rank of Lieutenant Commander. Mr. Smit serves as Vice Chairman of Cable Television Laboratories, Inc. He serves as a Director of National Cable Satellite Corporation, Cable Television Laboratories, Inc., Charter Communications Capital Corporation, National Cable & Telecommunications Association and AOL LLC. He serves as a Member of Advisory Board at Canoe Ventures LLC. He served as a Director of America Online Latin America Inc., from December 2004 to August 19, 2005 and Charter Communications Inc. from August 22, 2005 to February 28, 2010. Mr. Smit holds a BS from Duke University and an MS in International Business from Tufts University's Fletcher School of Law and Diplomacy.
