We work in a dev-ops model, so we have some members that are more dev driven and others that are more operations driven. We are very welcome to new members on our team. At least from my experience on our team, we try to leave our egos at the door and work on the projects that are given to us. New developers are there to become an extension of our day to day operations. They have to prove that they want to be part of the team.
