Absolutely everything needs to get better.
Setting realistic expectations for their drivers and testing entirely new incentive systems on small areas and getting the feedback of the drivers before mass implementation.
Remove bots at the server. Give loyal veteran shoppers access to the better batches. New shoppers should be started with access to smaller batches and work their way up. Provide support to shoppers instead of very poor excuse for support currently provided.
They are so rude and inhuman
Stop sending shoppers orders that are in dangerous areas. Stop punishing us for declining ridiculous orders

Since about a year ago the Instacart portion of payment has dropped drastically. New shoppers are given access to large paying batches while veteran shoppers are given leftovers. Bot users gave taken over and the only fix is at the Instacart server.
Benefits would be nice especially healthcare
I would like to be paid more, since shoppers do not have any dental or medical benefits. It's alot of wear and tear on the body, and the car.
I don't have to write things like this
I don't have a team and only associate with two other veteran shoppers who have been loyal and take pride in their job. Watching some of the other shoppers and hearing the horror stories from customers is disheartening.

Lots of focus on work-life balance. It's not always perfect but the effort is there. We are encouraged to use time off and advocate for ourselves.
Marketing needs to get larger customer base so demand is higher. Current company culture is sitting in a parking lot from seconds to 3+ hours, in my own experience, waiting for more work(ie. money) to come your way.
For Instacart to appreciate the veteran shoppers who have been loyal and who take pride in doing the best job possible. That means get rid of the bots, and give the veteran shoppers back their access to the higher paying batches.
The interview process was just submitting proof of a vehicle, passing a background check, getting an insulated bag, getting special branded bagging, and filling out tax forms. No phone interview.

Seeing the smiling faces of a satisfied customer
Number of drivers online outweigh current number of available orders, so drivers must go without work. Number of orders can be improved with more marketing and a larger customer base.
