Costco Compensation Employee Reviews

What is the best part about your compensation package?

I love the benefits that Costco offers

Everything, The PTO, the insurance

pay scale and the ability to make bonuses

Our insurance is really good, the pay is "good" compared to other retailers but the payscale within the company needs revamped. No way people lifting 80 pound plus boxes or pushing carts in 110 or 10 degree weather get paid the same as a door greeter

Insurance is GREAT its really the only reason i stay!

It's very comprehensive in its package

Benefits are great for the family

So far the price for premium

Good insurance and pharmacy options

The stock option I think is the best part.

great benefits for my family

Pay is up to industry standards, but DEI policies got to go.

Review from Customer Support Dept

The amount of benefits that are given

There are so many benefits included with the compensation package. It covers a very diverse range of employee needs.

I have Dental support for my kids

Roth 401K option, company match, bonus 2 times a year

Vacation time and health benefits

life insurance, 401k, benefits package for part time employees

Hourly Pay, as well as good coverage on benefits.

Review from Sales Dept

It is very fair, and above other stores

Why do you feel undervalued and what would make you feel better about your compensation?

I feel undervalued because long-term employees like myself don’t receive health benefits after retirement. We’ve dedicated years of service, and continued healthcare support would reflect true appreciation. Adding post-retirement coverage would make compensation feel more compl

Many things, but main things would be proper advancement procedures, equal consequences to actions and actual skill and ability needed to be recognized

Higher pay and better benifits

Yes I do feel undervalued. I work very hard at my job, because I value good customer service and the member's will say that they always enjoy my customer service. What would make me feel better, just be fair.

More on our paycheck to support our cost of living

I would feel better if they looked into my issues and helped resolve them. They swept everything HR under the carpet.

Clear goals are not given by supercvisirs. Training is abysmal yet you are expected yo perform at a level uou dont even know exists.

Presenteeism is valued more than output

Other jobs have the same starting pay and faster progression while being easier jobs.

The pay for one. The lack of integrity to get the job done on all levels for two. As it stands I am doing half my manager's job with no compensation for it, not even a supervisor title. Nobody on any level wants to do their job the right way so newer employees are forced to work as hard as 5 people.

The health insurance for part time employeement is HMO.I should be able to pay more if i want a PPO plan.

Costco's health benefits are great, but pay and additional compensation is lacking for corporate and skilled roles. I have found compensation ranging from 15-25% higher at other companies for similar roles to the one I held.

I’ve been here for five years and have seen new hires move up when I’m working just as hard and if not, harder than those being promoted. Seniority should mat

Food court treats up like machines only valued by our physical ability to work fast

Pay that fits the current market.

We are not paid according to the market in the seattle area, and we are losing good employees in droves!

Bay area cost of living and inflation we need more money! Give us that $2 back we had during the pandemic

People are worked to the bone, and you are treated as expendable. They know and you know you can replaced and for a cheaper wage so theres no incentives to keep hard workers.

With inflation I am making less money, I would need a greater wage

Saying a 2.5% raise is a large raise is insulting
