Q&A With Cruise Automation Employees

Self-driving cars are the hardest engineering challenge of our generation. It’s even more difficult in a dense urban environment like San Francisco. But once that challenge is solved, our self-driving cars will help save lives, reimagine cities, redefine time in transit, and restore freedom of movement for many. To make that future a reality, we’re hiring the best and brightest engineers: individuals with skills and experiences ranging from data science to AI, robotics to hardware, and speech processing to data modeling.

How employees describe working at Cruise Automation

Experience was very negative-- I know I am not alone in this (just look at the company reviews from other employees). Very disappointing as the mission sounds really cool.

HR makes a lot of announcements about "culture" but nothing changes. Lots of infighting, politics, inexperienced management, and "bro culture"

Solid team, highly technical, hard workers, empathetic and humble.

It is focused on the mission and safety

Freedom to go where I want however I want.
