Mr. Thomas M. Moriarty serves as Executive Vice President, Chief Policy & External Affairs Officer and General Counsel at CVS Health Corp.CVS Health Corp. Mr. Moriarty serves as Medco Health Solutions, Inc.'s Senior Vice President of Pharmaceutical Contracting since September 2007 and is responsible for negotiating contracts with pharmaceutical manufacturers, drug purchasing analysis and consulting with clients on formulary drug lists and plan design. Since August 2006, he has served as the Company's Senior Vice President of Business Development, responsible for mergers and acquisitions and strategic alliances. Other positions held within Medco include Deputy General Counsel, and Vice President & Managing Counsel, responsible for the Commercial Transactions group. Mr. Moriarty joined Medco in June 2000 as Assistant Counsel. He served as Assistant General Counsel of Pharma & North America for Merial Limited (a Merck & Co., Inc. and Aventis Company) and as Assistant Counsel for Merck & Co., Inc. Mr. Moriarty joined Merck in 1993. Mr. Moriarty received his law degree from the University of Virginia School of Law in 1989, and bachelor's degree in Government and Law from Lafayette College in 1985.
