Mentorship can be snarky from time to time. Mentorship can also be personal and friendly. People overall, seem great. I do feel like this job consumes me and the work life balance could be much better. There really is no such thing as time off here, not mentally anyway.

They are friendly and encouraging.

can talk about things other than work. not so serious all the time
What makes you most happy at work?
when my desk is moving quickly and deals are being made. Also when I conquer a personal challenge.
What is most positive about the culture and environment at your company?
level up programs and the investment in the knowledge the talent has is great. If you do well, there are small perks. For the most part the team overall is very upbeat and supportive.
Why do you feel undervalued and what would make you feel better about your compensation?
Though I am determined to see this through, there is a lot of work with a little pay out. My hope is that this wont always be the case. There is no point in time where I can truly take a day off and not think of money I am losing out on. No peace of mind, no breather in this position.
