I was a uni student working as a lifeguard. The management that didn't have lifesaving training would poo poo us taking our legal 10 minute breaks and would always prioritse favoured staff. The monthly training itself was great. I worked twice a week ontop of studies but couldn't bring a friend
Cutting on staff that is underpaid is never good way of running a business. Lower level staff is so unhappy with work they have to do as we are constantly overworked. As a supervisor I don't have time on my shift to do supervisor duty during my 40h week. Worst company I worked for.
