I started out excited and happy to be working for Denny's, however once in the position as manager I hated every minute.
What's going wrong and how can it be improved?
Pay managers more since we are expect to do the job of 3 ppl, 8-10 hr days instead of 12+
What do your coworkers need to improve and how could you work together better?
there are some who work as a team ayer while most don't .. most will so their own version of "Dennys Way"
What does the leadership team need to get better at?
as a manager myself, we strive for hard working crews, some more than others, but most are disgruntle due to.extremely long hours and no staff
What needs to change to make the company culture better?
the newly appointed Area Manager is very nefitice and sour, never has anything nice or motivational to say .. always grumbling and making our job as managers even more difficult
