Since I have been at Denny's I think I have great work ethic. I just feel that the younger people that are working should be taught more and be structured.
What are some of the best things about your team?
I haven't worked at the Denny's long enough to even say what is good about the team.
What's going wrong and how can it be improved?
The servers need to have a strong team leader, and actually do the work that needs to be done instead of just going home when they are ready to leave.
Why do you feel undervalued and what would make you feel better about your compensation?
I understand that with the COVID-19 pandemic going on less people are going out to eat. So the labor is not great. I feel like I work hard for no pay. As a server I am taking tables, taking drinks, bringing out orders,cleaning my own tables, cashing out guest, washing dishes in back. With little pay
