Dish Network Environment Employee Reviews

What is most positive about the culture and environment at your company?

I like how they keep us up on trainings

Enjoy working with the customers.

Very flat leadership structure gives you more visibility than at other companies.

Review from Engineering Dept

The people and their committment.

My leader helps me to amplify my work

They seem very thoughtful and helpful.

Review from IT Dept

The Dish environment in the retention center is a positive and upbeat environment with management and coworkers all working seamlessly together. Quality assurance keeps employees following proper business procedures which I find important, so the customers and employees know what to expect.

They measure your hours and not your work, so when quitting time comes you don't feel obliged to have to work after that time.

Little to no HR involvement

Review from Operations Dept

My co-workers were the best part of working at Dish Wireless.

Customer s where the only positive

Review from Operations Dept

We are always looking to improve not only in your work life but personal lives as well

Review from Customer Support Dept

You can make common connections with some of the people you work with. There is opportunity to develop new skills.

Review from Operations Dept

Team players are all around you

Lots of incentive and moral bossting activities.

Review from Customer Support Dept

Innovation, spirit, entrepreneurs, fun, action

Review from IT Dept

When the day or week has ended.

Review from Customer Support Dept

Our teams are tight knit and stick together.

Review from IT Dept

Leaving at the end of core hours

I don't see anything positive about the culture.

What needs to change to make the company culture better?

Listen to employees and get rid of ineffective managers.

Actually foster a positive culture. Executives make gut feeling decisions that make zero sense

Stop the back stabbing and lying.

They need to realize that the employees are what make there bread and butter

Review from Operations Dept

Dissolving employment for all current leadership, executives and managers. Starting fresh with a team that wants to improve work conditions, follow the law and treat employees well.

The people are generally great, but the company could put more money into improving the culture. They nickel and dime their employees and you can tell.

New leadership starting with the ground up

Review from Operations Dept

Take into account after 16 years that that technician has goven alot and at anytime shouldnt feel like his job on the line

Review from Operations Dept

communication, role clarity, hierarchy, processes need to be created and documented. Leadership training for those that are program directors or directors.

Review from Engineering Dept

Remove the badge report system.

Review from Operations Dept

There's too much pressure on technicians getting jobs done

Review from Customer Support Dept

Letting employees know that they are valued.

Review from Operations Dept

their is a lot of negative and emotional employees who start the gossip rumor mill

Recently underwent many departmental shake ups that were masked by claims for poor performance. Once looked at the numbers used showed that management manipulated data to support these claims.

Review from Customer Support Dept

just to listen to employees and to not grind them to a pulp

Review from Customer Support Dept

Shut it down, wipe out management and start over!

Review from Customer Support Dept

Culture is controlled and determined by the chairman. He will never change his mind on what he is looking for in order to make this company successful. The quicker you recognize this, the quicker you can determine whether or not DISH will be a good fit.

Different mindset managers with diverse perspective

DISH could improve its culture by fostering open communication, promoting work-life balance, and recognizing employee achievements. Additionally, providing opportunities for professional growth and creating an inclusive, respectful environment can enhance overall company culture.
