Dish Network Leadership Employee Reviews

What do you like best about the leadership team?

Terrible, never communicating what is coming

Outside of work they are decent people but are forced to micromanage due to upper management.

Always have help available or answers to questions you may have even being a remote tech

Clearly communicating goals, which makes measuring success easy

The best there is out there

Review from IT Dept

My VP is amazing. She helps me get better daily and is invested in my success.

Management is eager to help you succeed

The management was organized, weekly sales goals measured vs monthly which was extremely motivating and an upbeat atmosphere. Dish transitioned well for Covid-19 by getting our entire call center to work-at-home in a efficient manner.

The have ambitious goals. They want to transform DISH away from satellite and into new industries and are willing to take the risks to do it.

They're open and willing to talk about concerns.

great transparency and approachability. hard working but fun

Flexibilty, drive, determination, and willingness to work with you

Review from Operations Dept

Great team to be a part of

My lower level managers are amazing, some of the best I've ever had. The executives literally called people who want to work from home sociopaths in an all team meeting...

Review from IT Dept

They promote from within, so make sure that you are having those conversations and incorporate skip level meetings into your cadence.

Helps me a lot to improve, and very transparent on what I should work on or avoid doing.

Innovation, strategy, personable, caring, motivated

Review from IT Dept

Open door policy and as long as they have time they will talk to you about just about anything that's in your mind. Always looking to grow as a company. I love how dish promotes from within for most jobs

Review from Customer Support Dept

Charlie Ergen and team seem to be willing to be play hardball with channel owners!

Review from Sales Dept

They are looking for ways to stay relevant.

Review from Operations Dept

What does the leadership team need to get better at?

Thinking about people and not just any goal wiithout anyreason

Treating people like humans. The whole executive leadership team treats everyone like children that need to be babysat

They do not have vision

Trusting employees listening to solutions

Respecting their employees since its their employees that build the complany

Review from Operations Dept

Setting a strtegy and an architecture for the company

Being a good boss to their employees

Communicating to employees. Advocating for their employees. And working together as a team. Also, flexibility, we aren't in the 1980s! DE&I is non existent.

All round better leadership staff

Review from Operations Dept

Sales expectations, training, accountability, training, prioritizing fixing software, training, etc.

Not recycling the leaders of the organization.

Not letting rid of good help and inderstanding when someones there for 16 years they deserve a chamce to get ahead

Review from Operations Dept

Education, respect, value of people's time, empower employees

Big company that don't care how many years u work for them .only how much u sell to the customer

Review from Operations Dept

Everything Start Treating your techs better This Company try to put fear in workes if you don't sell you don't have a job and Managers are very disrespectful to Techs,And Start Paying Techs For Sales technicians are not Sales People and your incentives are Bull

Review from Operations Dept

Engaging with employees. Not treating them like numbers. Looking beyond numbers and what drives numbers.

Review from Operations Dept

Communication and collaboration across various group needs to improve. Currently it seems that operations is segmented which impacts understanding and delays resolutions for issues. It also hurts morale as people start to feel like they are not part of a team working towards the big picture.

Review from Engineering Dept

Viable training for my position

Respecting workers and their time

Review from Sales Dept

Working with their agents to improve customer service. They say they are all about the customers but do nothing when the customer is treated wrong.
