Communication is really missing from upper management
Being honest and fair with the people who make you look good every day. Listen to their problems and do something about it. Actually show appreciation and not some facade to make yourself look good. Learn how treat your employees before you yourself are out of a job.
Get rid of the corporate V.P.'s, they are totally unnecessary
Communication and treating everyone fair. Differentiating business from how you feel about an employee on a personal level has been the Achilles heel for Eaton Sumter.
Review from Operations Dept
New leaders need to learn the business before setting unrealistic and unattainable goals that plant level employees have no chance of achieving. When getting close to hitting goal, the carrot is moved forcing tremendous amounts of overtime. Replace salary members so we aren't doing 3 peoples jobs.

Actually caring about their employees.
