How's the work life balance at Eaton?
There is no work life balance. Unless you count coming home and going to sleep a life.
With a 17% below profit margin for my plant and occurring bad quality at its highest and a very bad safety and with a 10 hrs days plus 8 Saturdays, I can say we do not have a life/work balance.

What do you wish you knew before starting at Eaton?
If you are going to manage ask to meet some of the staff or the outgoing manager.

Interview well and intelligently... dress for success...if female, not too much perfume or club make-up, conservative &modern-pretty hair style, no visible tats.
How flexible is your work schedule at Eaton?
no have to do a bunch of paper work to change your schedule
Hours are standard but I was able to telework
How difficult is it to maintain a social life while in your job at Eaton?
You can text and talk over the phone that’s about it. You go to work, come home and sleep just to wake up and do it all over again.
