Edible Arrangements – Working at a franchise is horrible. I honesly believe that Corporate doesn't care if it puts all of its stores out of business. It makes bad, expensive decisions and we are forced to comply. But it doesn't work out and then we are left with expensive tools and equipment we can't use. | Comparably

What do you like best about the leadership team?

I like that they are far away in Atlanta so they can't bother us on a day to day basis

What are some of the best things about your team?

We all care about our store and each other. We are committed to doing the best we can so we can have everything run smoothly

What is most positive about the culture and environment at your company?

The customer service people are American. The designers are Russian. I enjoy learning about the differences in our cultures and finding ways to communicate when there is a language barrier.

Why do you feel undervalued and what would make you feel better about your compensation?

I AM undervalued. The owner only gives raises if you threaten to quit. If I were paid equivalently to other people who do the same job, I would feel better. If I were appreciated, I would feel better - but it would be easier to get a raise than to be appreciated.

What's going wrong and how can it be improved?

Owner has money problems so we are always out of a lot of the supplies we need to make the arrangements. I hate making substitutions in orders when I know that's not what the customer ordered. Our store is busy. The owner should buy more supplies for us than for his unprofitable stores
