Edward Jones Compensation Employee Reviews

What is the best part about your compensation package?

Review from Sales Dept

Top notch compensation, benefits, partnership and retirement plans.

Unlimited potential to earn a living.

Unlimited potential focused on sistainability and client

Commissions and Bonus' paid regularly

HSA, profit sharing, payout based on your efforts

HSA match of up $1,000

Free Taco Bell on Tuesday

We have many ways to earn discounts on our medical premiums.

Great sign on bonus and time off

Benefits are competitive and fair.

Review from Customer Support Dept

I really appreciate the wellness benefits, the profit sharing, and the HSA matching program.

Its just average. Nothing to brag about

good package to have here

For the most part, the harder I work, the more I make.

Bonus and travel award programs.

Profits are aligned with who does the work

No weekends, 10 paid holidays & vacation based on years of service

No maximum to the earning potential

The potential to make more if you keep wirking hard

Why do you feel undervalued and what would make you feel better about your compensation?

Leaders should be compensated for employee development.

I feel I have a position where I can pick my work days and do accept 95% of assignments and that is sometimes within 2-3 days and think my current hourly salary should be increased

Review from Admin Dept

Better work, life, balance, better pay, better benefits

A large portion of pay is via Limitied Partnership. You need to be there years in order to get that. Due to that structure, you have secretaries that have been with the firm 30+ years making 175K

Higher base salary is needed

No support from veteran FA. Lots if favoritesm shown to counterparts

Pay should be better for what we do and benefits should be better.

Review from Marketing Dept

I feel that it is very difficult for a new advisor to build his or her business. Many advisors receive asset packages from other advisors who leave the firm to help them grow their business. However, there doesn't seem to be clear criteria for how those assets are distributed.

I am accustom to a percentange of the top line revenue, normally paid out monthly.

Review from Sales Dept

Need more opportunity for LTI for senior roles that are not general partners

There is often cross training or cross development for specific roles within the firm; however there is no additional compensation for being forcibly moved into multiple roles. Regardless of your skillset or level of experience. It is more common to see your white colleague promoted.

The opportunity to earn a percentage bonus monthly. Annual raise not equal to performance level.

Review from Admin Dept

some get paid more for the same work
