There are many Indian companies paying higher salaries and bonuses for jobs at same levels. Benefits like vehicle loan, home loans are provided for employees. Being an international company, Elsevier should compare themselves with those high-pay companies to retain talent instead of market standard.

1. When an employee completes 5, 10 or 15 years, the amount should be credited to our salary and not added in spotlight. Spotlight is fine for getting recognized for awards. 2. The difference between the appraisal amount between ratings is quite less. The amount also should be increased.
