I loved it at one point but the direction has changed for the worse. If offered the position now versus 2 years ago, I would turn it down.

The joy I get from helping my residents is unparalleled.
Why do you feel undervalued and what would make you feel better about your compensation?
Being treated like an adult with a brain would be nice.
What did you like most about the interview process?
The RDO ( have been 2 more since then) was extremely personable and asked pertinent questions, versus standard canned questions
What are some of the best things about your team?
My community team is wonderful; they work hard and exemplify teamwork. The Regional Directors have disrupted that with no care about the effect.
What's going wrong and how can it be improved?
Replace the managers between Chicago and the communities. Find people who value loyalty and want to help others grow instead of tearing them down.
What do you like best about the leadership team?
They are always there for you. I can pick up the phone at any point in time and reach my regional director if I need him.
What is most positive about the culture and environment at your company?
They talk a good game but MVV are not followed at the Regional level. The only positive thing I can think of is unlimited PTO
What does the leadership team need to get better at?
Regional Directors in Georgia do not back up community level staff. They refuse to take ownership of their faults and instead throw it on community management.
What is the best part about your compensation package?
The time off is phenomenal. As an executive director you literally have no cap to how many vacation days you can take as long as your work is completed
