Mr. Seth Blackley co-founded Evolent Health, Inc. in 2011 and serves as its President. Mr. Blackley serves as the President of Evolent Health LLC. He was the Executive Director of Corporate Development and Strategic Planning at The Advisory Board Company, where he oversaw partnerships and acquisitions, key elements of new product development and other strategic growth initiatives. He has 13 years of experience in building businesses in healthcare. As the Executive Director for Business Development at the Advisory Board Company, he oversaw mergers, acquisitions and corporate development. One of the projects he led provided software and services to help health systems move from fee-for-service to outcomes-based care - which was then spun off under the name Evolent Health. Prior to joining The Advisory Board, he was an Associate at Bain Capital Partners, where he helped execute the 2006 buyout of Hospital Corporation of America (HCA). He started his career as an analyst in the Washington, D.C. office of McKinsey & Company. He has been Director of Advanced Practice Strategies, Inc since December 02, 2014. He earned a BS from The University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill, where he graduated with Highest Honors and his MBA from the Harvard Business School.
