Expedia Group Compensation Employee Reviews

What is the best part about your compensation package?

High salary for the market (in Europe)

It is not just the cents and dollars, but it is the other flex benefit, the working environment, the opportunity for learning

Stocks and other payables which is travel expense

Base is high, stock could do better

Review from Product Dept

flexibility in my hours and at times even choice of work as. a high performer

Maternity/paternity leave, sick leave, travel costs are reimbursed

Equity along with reimbursements like gym and travel

Roth 40(k), sign on, good salary

Salary is competitive with the competition

PTO, 401k, paid holidays (this doesn't mean you're off - people still travel on the holiday), and the daily perks that come unexpectedly, even if it's a new hoodie or something like that.

The additional benefits that encompasses travel as well

The best part is the travel benefits

Flexible working both in time and place

Fairly good but more consideration required

Company offers great compensation, career wise it provides good support to employees.

Review from Finance Dept

Equity and bonus elimination giving 100%. Bonus to base

Medical benefits, travel discount, PTO

My comp is competitive, benefits are reasonable. Stock/Equity is less compared to other similar product companies.

Travel perks and bonus are great

Salary is somewhat competitive, but the overall stock/equity package is sub-par.

Review from Marketing Dept

Why do you feel undervalued and what would make you feel better about your compensation?

If the company expects top talent, they have to pay for it

A more fair compensation package

Healthy insurance isn't good outside thr US.

Having vouchers is cool but promotions sounds better if you preform well

They speak of being competitive in the market and that is so far from the truth. Understand what actually happens in the market and actually differentiate yourselves instead of trying to clone yourself after Amazon (which you’ll never compete against btw

I am getting 20% less than a colleague in the same company and also in the area where I am working

Being paid similar to other roles outside

More salary as per the standards, there should be parity among all the employees

Review from IT Dept

Compared to other tech and nontech companies, the overall benefits and pay are lower at Expedia in the Seattle area. How much I work (60-70 hrs per week) does not reflect on my compensation as it would elsewhere.

Review from Product Dept

Being paid AT LEAST market rates would be a start.

Review from Marketing Dept

If we do not pay market rates experienced senior engineers will continue to leave. You can only do so much with junior engineers until the standards drop

Review from Engineering Dept

The supervisors do not take their time to accomadate you or what you need. They do not stay true to policies.
