Retaining employees and not offshoring all positions under Director. There is an atmosphere of letting good employees go to save costs by backfilling positions offshore. Compensation has fallen way behind in this inflationary environment.
Compensation for existing employees needs to keep up with inflation. After bad years, employees receive lower salary adjustments, after good years, employees still receive similar salary adjustments with the reasoning that the upcoming year will be challenging. When will adjustments be fair?
