The whole package makes sense and is fair

Equity package provides incentive and loyalty to the company.
The best part of the compensation package is the fair compensation component and great benefits. Reimbursable expenses such as monthly phone bill, home office equipment are also an added bonus.

The team comes from a variety of backgrounds, yet everyone expects each other to deliver on their portion of the work. Furthermore, the team has consistent touch points which allow us to level set each other when needed.
Commitment to the success of company and to the team. I know they have my back. I know it sounds cliche-ish but it is very true. Being a remote employee for over decade, I have been with places where remote employee are on an island with little support. That is not the case here, huge difference.

The best part of our company culture is how expectations are set and how fair leadership is in regards to work-life balance. You are only required to travel when it is required and only for as long as it is needed. Furthermore, we have a flat and transparent organization.
For some companies culture isn't something that remote employees experience. FaceFirst took steps to make me feel welcomed when I arrived, thus introducing the culture. Being a smaller company, I have gotten to know my colleagues faster and better. The culture does extend beyond the main office.

The interview process and decision timing was quick
The interview process was more of a conversation that allowed for the candidate and the interviewer to discuss how the candidate could add value to the company. Behavioral questions /skills based questions were used as a way to help demonstrate the potential value of the candidate.
This may sound odd, but the length of the process. It was refreshing to hear so many people talk so well about the company and their teams. Usually a lengthy process isn't good for an interview. When an offer was made, I had enough good conversations to move forward with my decision to accept.
