There is no balance, it's 90% work and 10% life. They expect way too much from the managers. Some assistants don't even know their job fully, they were just put in that position to give the managers some days off. And csr's are hard to keep. Their first month they'll get 30 hours, then get cut to 12 hours a week. Ridiculous, the corporate people behind the desks have no clue how much each employee works. They would never make it in a store!

  • I left due to the work load. Due to the low wages offered to assistant managers, as the store manager, I had to work double shifts. I worked 85-100 hours my last month with the company. Horrible leadership!

  • Depends on willingness of Store Mangers to give you that time with family members.

Yes, just talk to your store manager or dm about switching stores.

  • It is and it's as simple as transferring from one store to another but you are not guaranteed hours that you had before and may loose your postion if you are an ASM and the store your going to does not need a Assistant Manager.

I missed my oldest brother's 70th birthday and my daughter and her family had to come to the store because I had no time. Just one of 30 days in a row without an off day. Inhumane treatment.
