Very - we have a discretionary time off program and no specific set schedule
Not flexible at all if you have younger children. 4 day work week (10 hr shifts) leaves nothing left for school events, sporting activities w your kids
Treated like adults to get our work done! Great balance for life
What are your coworkers at Fanatics Commerce like?
AMAZING - They're the best part. We work hard together and have each other's backs. We aren't in competition with each other because we're all on the same team.

Terribly. They are ineffective in providing clear and equitable expectations. It's as if certain people get away with breaking protocol while others get pressured to work more than they're required to do so. They do not support the managers, nor much of the retail staff, unless you happen to befriend them.
Not very well. There is a set list of rules/regulations that should be followed, most break them and never see any consequences, while others are constantly harassed with write ups
HR team is dedicated to helping everyone succeed. They are available to help solve problems and they are proactive at finding ways to make our culture even better.

How hard is it to get promoted at Fanatics Commerce?
Depends on team....part of it is who you know and some teams offer more in terms of growth opportunities/leveling, but in general I think hard work is rewarded
Titles given out like candy, pay is never mentioned

Take out toxic middle management (aka “directors”)

401k w/ immediate contribution & 100% vested match after 1 year, unlimited paid time off (exempt employees), free life insurance, multiple health/dental/vision insurance options, fertility/adoption $ support, discounted gym memberships, free WW, etc.
Downs I’ve health insurance and barely any match on 401k. Offer stock options but once you are inside you realize there isn’t a chance in hell they're going public anytime soon.’

How's the work life balance at Fanatics Commerce?
Depends on the manager/team, but my experience has been excellent
Offer discretionary time off program to take “whenever you want to” but there’s an old fable we learned “No DTO goes unpunished” so enjoy your free paid vacation, but you will be punished with triple work (or maybe even no job) when you return.
Depends on role. Hot market and end of year sales can mean long hours

Amazing! Unlimited discretionary time off for exempt employees, generous for non-exempts
Good on paper but leadership does not encourage Work-life balance so it’s rarely used. My time off is only to fix my car or go to the doctor and usually work half days still.

How's the morale at Fanatics Commerce?
In most locations, very high
Negative, regular employees get ambushed by seasonal workers that do what they want when they want. Rules are constantly broken. As of the last couple of years language has become a issue. No communication and zero personal level attention. There is room for great improvement. Upper management never visible and not approachable.
Morale is at an all-time high. We love it here!

They interview as much for experience as they do fit. You have to be willing to bring passion and show that during interview
