Understanding leadership, goals, employee morale

appreciating their employees. Ten years for 1 paid sick day is lunacy.
They need trained on how to be a manager. They want you to do things a certain way, but they dont have to do whatever they want you to do
Review from Operations Dept
Being transparent everything is hidden I guess they don't want you to know as much as they do.
Valuing employees and treating people with respect
Getting payed a fair amount for the work i do
That people get paid what they're worth. People shouldn't get paid close to the same, and have to do half as much as work. They show favorism, and dont hold the same stanards for everyone
Review from Operations Dept
no raises in two year
Review from Sales Dept
I feel that fastenal thinks anyone and everyone is replaceable so even when great workers leave they make no changes to keep the next great employee.
Pay is not equitable, salary or bonus. Some are not paid for the hard work they put in while others are over paid and putting in little to no effort, given favorable roles, larger salaries, or better bonus calculators.

Get paid what theyre worth. Have same stanards for everyone

Coworkers are great people to work with.
We have no meetings and coworkers pass work off
never had a meeting in two years

They need to stop talking about sexual stuff and stop causing drama in the work place.

It would be better if everyone was treated the same. It would be better if the wages were fairly paid. It would be better if the commission was higher. It would be better if you did the job he was hired to do and not had to do the job for five people. It would be better if they didn't allow bullying
Transparency, performance reviews, guidance, and lower level engagement. Bad apples are allowed to stick around far too long with no accountability.

Change anti-harassment policy. Zero tolerance should be the standard. Stop protecting long term employees who aren't meeting expectations or no longer benefitting the company, they are holding back others. It runs off a lot of good employees.
Managment needs to step up and take action. We rely on our part timers way too much. They do not need that job, if they leave we would be done for. District manager could care less about anything but our numbers. Its annoying.
a better environment and employees that are intelligent
Review from Operations Dept
the process is getting to long

Well stop hiring women based off of their looks alone. Seriously my fastenal manager hired a stripper who dressed very unprofessional at work. This caused tremendous drama in the work place.
Review from Sales Dept
I never had an interview with this company. They bought out the company I worked for. Things have gone downhill from there.
Review from Operations Dept
the place good for quick part time job
Review from Sales Dept
They need to stop hiring uneducated perverts, and promoting them to manager positions.
Review from Sales Dept
Lower prices, actually price items on the shelves since it makes it twice as much work for employees to run to a POS and have to scan in every item for a price.
Some employees slack on purpose and others are forced to pick up their slack.
There is no trust in co-workers. Also, the company policy to recruit friends tends to alienate real life relationships, further straining day to day activities. Recruitment from outside referrals would go far to help..
