Managers, District managers, can either make or break your experience. Doesn't help that they pay the bare minimum, and expect the maximum amount of effort. Gamestop doesn't care if you go above and beyond. Their goals are too high, and when you meet them you aren't rewarded.
What are some of the best things about your team?
The personalities, and the friendly faces. Nice to work in a casual environment.
What do you like best about the leadership team?
I like my manager, but everyone else is just too harsh, and extremely mean to their employees. They call them replaceable, etc.
What would you improve about your company's interview process?
The interview was 5 questions, and I was almost instantly hired because they had no one else to fill the position. They were desperate enough to basically skip common interview questions
Why do you feel undervalued and what would make you feel better about your compensation?
I feel undervalued because of the amount of money I get paid for the amount of work. 10 dollars an hour does not cut it, when I can be working at Walmart, making 14-16 an hour and doing less work without harsh Quotas.
