Gartner Compensation Employee Reviews

What is the best part about your compensation package?

Pay for performance; solid OTE

Commissions are great compared to other companies

Review from Sales Dept

I have got a good hike

The best part pf the compensation package is the commission structure.

The uncapped commission and ability to work remotely.

20 PTO days and 401k match

I get free food, free insurance, money for transport, money for gym/healthcare, discounts, and all the equipment i could ever imagine needing

By far the best medical coverage I've seen in terms of costs and value.

Day 1 benefits available to all associates

Maternity leave and PTO are the best.

OTE, benefits, and commission structure

Good coverage and employees family is covered at no cost to the employee

Review from Operations Dept

Fairly compensate with timely payment

Decent base salary and commission structure

Flexibility in configuring the benefits package

Bonus and benefits are market competitive.

The overall compensation and benefits are fair.

I have the opportunity to optimize my earnings. I love that there are no caps on my earning potential.

Review from Sales Dept

Bonus payout is good and more than 100%.

I have an uncapped comp plan

Why do you feel undervalued and what would make you feel better about your compensation?

More balanced opportunity, growth opportunities, better benfits

Higher base pay with the commission

Equity/stock options for mid-execs would be good for all. Health care options are decent but limited for choice (e.g. fitness for life stage or risk tolerance)

Higher pay is desired. That is the biggest problem.

We are paid atleast 20% less then the market.

Yes i have heard ppl are getting way more than I am

When starting at Gartner I did not understand the value of my expertise and should have negotiated for a higher salary and equity.

becoming an Full time employee

Higher compensation packages should be offered.

Fair treatment, not overwhelming their people with more work than can be dealt with in a 40 hour work week. And stop being ageist.

Review from Marketing Dept

Being paid market value .

internal promotions do not compensate at the market value. External applicants are compensated higher.

I would feel better if Gartner actually paid benefits, and if I was paid equitably. I have trained countless members of my team. Yet, I make 20% less than people who have been with the company for less than 3 months, and have the same position as I do.

Higher rates of increments and more office benefits will certainly be welcomed

Review from Operations Dept

If you stay with the company your taken advantage of, externals will always come in much higher

Review from Sales Dept

Not up to the market standard for compensation

Review from Sales Dept

A higher salary with more opportunity.

Review from Product Dept

Pay is less than market rate.

Stock options would be nice, better 401k matching.

Review from Customer Support Dept

Compensation would be fine if you could get your job done within a 40 hour workweek without the threat and intimidation of being fired for poor performance.
