Super helpful and understand team
Their apparant commitment to employee development
Innovative, Stable, and Experienced. Most of them are very grounded also.
Great leaders at Gartner India
They are open to employees admitting shortcomings, as long as there is a will to learn.
Love the management style and philosophy.
Very approachable and transparent with decision making.
There is a lot of transparency and direct communication from top to bottom and bottom up.
My manager acts as my mentor and she offers her time and help for my personal development on numerous occasions. Communication is key to everything, whether that is pay, vacations, actual work, etc
They care and always explain the why
They are hands off. They let me get my work done at my own pace and give me space to learn and work.
Good and the best leadership.
The compnay continues to grow and be proftibale. Emplyees are treated fairly.
Allowing personal autonomy and diversity
Improve psychological safety, eliminate bad leaders who act in self-interest
Most leaders lack empathy. Once you make them mad or one mistake, it's hard for them to move forward with you without holding a grudge
Testing ideas/products/initiatives before wholly committing. Understanding clients and products better.
Everything. They need to realize it is 2022, not 1995.
Better Pay and vision for employees
Openness and making employees feel wanted
Find people with real world industry experience and not fake ones
Not overworking their employees to the point where their mental health gets so bad they're considering suicide
Review from Marketing Dept
Looking for stronger new hires.
Review from Product Dept
When I asked HR about possible bullying, they were nonresponsive. I have management experience and multiple rounds of leadership training. I recognize bullying when I see it. I have had to confront bullying behavior. Gartner did nothing and gave me no confidence that the bully would be addressed.
The “leadership” doesn’t listen to its staff and implements change
Equity. Gartner lies by stating that it is an equitable company. It is not. Newer hires are paid almost 20% more for the same positions and work, and Gartner lies about it.Gartner has also cut bonuses and all benefits because of Covid. However,no C-suite executive has received benefits or salary cuts.
Stop being so obsessed with metrics; recognize the not so easily quantifiable ways in which (non-sales in particular) executives bring value to the company and it's clients
Review from Operations Dept
Management, less pressure on sales, need to follow through when clients engage
Caring about employees in all functions of the business
Review from Product Dept
They created a toxic workplace culture and hire incompetent, inexperienced managers.
