Over 6 years with GE now. If you are an hourly employee, there is little to no chance for advancement no matter your qualifications. Hourly wage is so low, most folks have to work as much OT as possible just to exist. No transparency from mngmnt. I like what I do but I cannot recommend this company

Any sort of health insurance is a terrific perk anymore.
What does the leadership team need to get better at?
The leadership team should just go away. The shop teams understand what to do and how to do it. Management is simply unnecessary at this point.
