General Electric Compensation Employee Reviews

What is the best part about your compensation package?

I believe I truly am being treated fairly.

Base pay and shift differential and time off

Executive bonus and base comp are compelling.

Has Medical and Dental Benefits.

flexibility at work and good working culture

Great rate of retirement contribution matching

Health Insurance is really good.

Review from Finance Dept

The bonus is in the package

Includes lots of differents plans

Good good company to work for

It would be my quarterly bonus

Annual compensation is done fairly

Review from Executive Dept

Stocks and bonus in yearly basis

Bonus is substantive and performance has been high enough that it pays.

Flexi leaves, no question ask while taking the leaves, LTA and car lease

the VCP is good . amazing

similar to other companies with same size

GE did pay me well

Best of the world by a technical company

It has covered all parts of my requirements

Why do you feel undervalued and what would make you feel better about your compensation?

I am a contractor so i have no benefits or stock options

I used to work too much for this meagre salary

GE wants to use your demographics to brag about diversity after they hire you then set back and watch managers sons and hand picked individuals succeed instead of you.

Having priorities and focus in our Customer needs should be compensated with Bonus

Review from Operations Dept

Not worrying about any of this im resigning very soon. Thanks to the vaccine mandate.

Pays scale is lagging with the rest of the industry. Benefits slowly dwindling.

Review from Engineering Dept

The equity side of our total compensation is not in line with other peer companies.

Review from HR Dept

Salary doesn't follow same pace as inflation in my country. Don't have any stock/equity compensation

Review from Finance Dept

Base salary is fair. However over the years health / pension...etc has eroded. While I understand the reasoning, its still a challenge when looking for longer term planning. More RSU/option leverage would be nice to be disseminated more broadly through GE's transition.

Review from HR Dept

Fair annual raises, more transparency on bonus structure, increased education benefits

Review from Engineering Dept

Annual increases should be more than 1 or 2% and bonuses would be nice

All the integrity & letter thing works only against you, when a decision is made, they do not respect you. Words are given easily and then forgotten in a blick of a second. Fairness is on paper... this company is managed by 3rd class finance and hr managers

Review from Operations Dept

I'd like a market-competitive offering on equity and much more coverage for health, dental, etc. Could easily go somewhere else with far better benefits. 401k match could be stronger as well. all this would be solved by a large equity pool, though.

Yes, the company has different priorities in this moment. Paying attention to its employees is just an accident.

GE is cheap and now that they are broke if you haven't been laid off yet you soon will be

Review from IT Dept

The company expects us to basically live there with the amount of forced overtime reducing the amount of time I can spend with my family

Review from Product Dept

Need Better health care coverage

I believe if we all work here for a common goal to make GE profitable we should all share in the same profit it should not be about the haves and have nots

Review from Operations Dept

fair raises and a chance to move up

Review from Product Dept

The company makes enormous profits but it’s never enough for them they don’t care about their employees they only care about their profits and their shareholders
