General Motors Compensation Employee Reviews

What is the best part about your compensation package?

Insurance, health and dental are very good.

Good pay, and great benefits

15% variable and compny car

Health insurance, vision and wellness

The unlimited benefits . .

Health care and PTO benefits

The insurance and the wages

401k match, dental and bcbs

Health insurance an life insurance is payed

Review from Product Dept

Would have to say that the health program is the best thing

Health insurance, yearly bonus, competetive base

Years end bonus + profit share.

Making a living after retirement

bonus compensation plan for employees

Best incentive is annual bonus

The compensation package is great dental, vision, medical, pay and the 401K. The only benefit I wish that was still offered is a pension plan, a true helpful plan for life after GM.

Pension is paid on time

The best part of the compensation is the insurance. It covers just about everything and the company covers the cost.

Yearly bonus that we get

Best part of my compensation would be PTO (Payed time offs) as well as life insurance cards

Why do you feel undervalued and what would make you feel better about your compensation?

Company disrespects contingent workforce and does not recognize their contributions

Gm, ceo, and others are destroying company, what the world valued it for like body styles and parts that had the best with good wage and time with family, created an area for people rid the worrys and think of better creative ways. And fast ways. Like tools for job and maint expanding ideas

Affirmation action screwed my carrier

Review from Operations Dept

I've lived paycheck to paycheck my whole 20+ year career and I don't live outside of my means. I couldn't afford the vehicles I build.

It was like being in a hell

Realistic salaries and far more fair salary distribution. NOBODY deserves millions while others make 60-80k

Becoming a temporary full time employee is what my goal is, i need to be guaranteed a 40 hr pay week. I would just like to not stress about my rent and bills not being paid.

Fix the hollow middle. Gm massively over pays complete idiots at entry level to lure them in. It utterly underpays the few altruly competent folks who actually make the wheels go round, and then it grossly and offensively overpays the morons it promotes (based largely on diversity goals).

Better base pay and more vacation time

More total compensation from shares/retirement etc

We should get paid more and more benefits. Better benefits

I wasn't allowed to negotiate my initial salary.

Appriciate the work emplorees do inspite of working hard to screw hard working employees.

More pay and time off

I wanna be permanent employee

Making everyone Permanent after 90 days and ended this endless temporary status.

Salary ranges are very board and its hard to get promoted to move to the next band.

Hurt all the time and I loose out on my family all the time the raise i should of hot ya still arguing about

I feel like I'm underpaid on the salary for that job responsibilities

Raise the cap fir the profit margin
