Out of 70 GfK employee reviews, 59% were positive. The remaining 41% were constructive reviews with the goal of helping GfK improve their work culture.
Better communication about their strategy
People hiting , empowering business leader and do incremental change instead if sudden death
Being transparent about what’s really going on and better compensation for employe
People skills need vast improvement
Transparency. We had a JV with our main competitor and information was poor. People are nervous of lay offs and those not worried are worried we will lose high talent and bring more work onto them and make the company weaker for it. We are owned by KKR now and everyone knows what Private Equity do!
Compensation and insurance benefits are much lower than the market going rate. Especially in Indonesia.
Equal work should be paid equally. But at GfK it's paid by "nose".
100% of salary or more for compensation. Company forced us to sign a document that for 40% of salary we won't leave the company for six months.
a market competitive salary will be good for a start!
Payment should be a lot more tied to the volume of work. Same payment for weeks of news/magazines and YouTube while you are under constant load.
Long time employess working in Germany should take german language courses compulsory.
Need to know what is going on iutside gfk
The team is nice. Mostly seniors, now that all the new colleagues are out
GfK needs to rethink and overhaul how they manage remote teams. Managers need to create structure and opportunities for coworkers to work together. Sending out "memes" about conference calls does not create a team environment.
Don't only look at profit short term. But make the place to work better.
New leadership is needed now
The company does not care about its employees. It only cares about making money at the expense of its employees and customers.

Operations wise , no accuracy nor honesty. Data is cooked in many countries.
Morphing into a new brand is not working
We need new owners. KKR sees as a property to flip and make a buck on. They don’t give two bits how we work so long as it’s cheap to keep costs down and make ya more attractive to buy
Stability. We have been flipped around owners like a hamburger patty on a grill. Having a ln owner willing to invest in growth as appears to starve us to show a better bottom line.
Employees should be compensated at market rates
