We care about each other and we all take on work equally.
What did you like most about the interview process?
Some of the questions feel pointless and repetitive and i think they could dive more into getting to know the applicant better rather than generic questions that can be answered with a lie.
What is most positive about the culture and environment at your company?
The only employees we have left are all here because we care about each other. Some of us can't quit and those of us who can would be leaving much more work for them if we did.
What's going wrong and how can it be improved?
Invest in your employees and they will invest in your company. Give us a reason to love this place again and we'll give you the entire world. It's hard to be enthusiastic when you're shortstaffed, underpaid, underappreciated, and customers can really see that.
What do you like best about the leadership team?
Store manager is awesome, most team leads are incredible. We're a giant family and we care about each other. Although, there is only so much that your manager has the power to do for you. They would do anything for you if they could.
Why do you feel undervalued and what would make you feel better about your compensation?
My job is very physically taxing, and to boot we're given more and more things to do with less staff as time goes on. Way more is expected of you than $9 per hour is worth. Surrounding businesses pay several more $ per hour than this one.
