The executive team needs to spend more resources on staffing their stores adequately. Team members are overworked and underpaid. Especially, salaried leadership in their c-stores.
The executive team does not put enough effort into the proper operations of their c-store units. They allow their stores to operate on a skeleton crew causing poor customer service and low team member morale. This has became considerably worse as they aggressively cut budgets to open new locations.
The company would expect salaried leaders to have zero work life balance. Especially in 24 hour c-store locations. Often leaders would have to work 65 to 80 hour weeks, every week, while being on a salary that does not match the workload. Salaried leaders would have to cover call-offs continuously.
