There's a lot to like about GitLab, but one amazing part is that anyone can contribute to the company rules, values, and processes in the handbook. There are a lot of things I don't like about GitLab, no company's perfect, but at GitLab, I get a voice and an opportunity to change it for the better.

I get to accomplish a lot and contribute to great team outcomes.
What did you like most about the interview process?
It was documented publicly. As a candidate I could just look at the handbook to see the questions I'd be asked and what the process would be.
What is the best part about your compensation package?
Fair market rate for Salary (in the Bay Area, the People group works a herculean task of trying to keep salary market rate figures for almost everywhere. It's understandably not consistent everywhere they are continually improving other locales.)
