good response good communication beeter performance

It was intensive, but clear and fair

The Unexpected Chemistry – There was something thrilling about locking eyes with an interviewer who got it—who smiled at my clever approach, who leaned in just a little when I explained my reasoning. The quiet hum of connection, even in something as formal as an interview, made it elect

the challenges given and the kindness of the interviewers

Review from Marketing Dept

Interviewed with people that actually did similar work so they were knowledgeable about what you need to be successful.

What would you improve about your company's interview process?

Interview all women and no men

shorten the incredibly long time to offer

Review from Engineering Dept

Communicate better and more timely fashion

Review from Engineering Dept

It took so long and was a very opaque process. I was very unimpressed by the interview process.

More questions to understand actitud and not only knowledge

Review from Operations Dept

Most all questions were never used within my position and no hands on perception.

Review from Executive Dept

transparency to the interviewee on why things go slow. Most of the time interviewee thinks they are not good so company is not interested but in reality the company is swamped with resumes and scheduling of all interviews which causes delays.

Review from Product Dept

Cultural fit is too highly valued given the current company culture. There used to be a value placed on unique individuals more than 7 years ago, but paying referral bonuses has led to a monoculture that is not distinguishable from any other "young white privileged momey-motivated male" tech company

Review from Engineering Dept

be little more transparent to applicants. online tests so people are filtered based on some technical ability that they know they didnt have if they fail.

Review from Product Dept

less interview in person and more video

Review from Engineering Dept

Make it more straight forward

Review from Marketing Dept

We only focus on role related knowledge and subject matter expertise in 25% of the interview... but we do spend time on problem solving called general cognitive ability but we leave out some critical parts of general common sense.

Review from IT Dept

Stop using a whiteboard for writing code. Stop asking algorithm puzzles. They only prove that someone has seen the problem before, likely because they are spending time prepping rather than working.

Review from Sales Dept

Google's hiring process is extremely slow and bureaucratic. Good candidates often have moved on before the process completes.
