Constructive Feedback From Greystar Employees

  • What needs to change to make the company culture better?
Stop the favortism . Hire more professional people. Too much gossipping from upper management in NY. They have group chats and talk to other employees about everyones business. Focus on LEARNING about rent stabilized vs Market. Cant even scan checks. A joke.

Hiring based on competency not image. Hold all accountable, not just select few. These "leaders" are the worst.
  • What do your coworkers need to improve and how could you work together better?
Learn to respect people and worker

Sustainability and Corporate Social Responsibility at Greystar

Greystar believes that energy management and sustainable practices enhance the financial value of the communities we manage — and help to preserve the environment for future generations. We are fundamentally committed to minimizing environmental impacts through continuous improvement of our energy performance and through sustainable operating practices.

At Greystar, we strive to make a big impact. Sometimes, making a small impact over thousands of homes creates the biggest returns. We created the Greystar Green Awards to challenge our associates, our owner clients, and our residents to develop more sustainable practices and lessen the environmental impacts at all of our communities.

Besides energy and water efficiency, sustainability practices include reducing waste, recycling and using recycled products, supporting carpooling and alternative transportation, and improving indoor environmental quality.
