What is most positive about the culture and environment at your company?

The managers and coworkers, and the customers. It was inclusive, collaborative, and genuinely fun. It felt like all the hard work was appreciated.

What do you like best about the leadership team?

Our managers are great with both appreciative comments and kind constructive criticism as needed. I've learned a lot from them and they are truly a pleasure to work with.

What makes you most happy at work?

Using my skills to place products in an organized way, so customers can easily find what they need. Helping customers find what they need. The environment created by the managemers.

What did you like most about the interview process?

Not all owners interview in the same way. The owners that hired me were down to earth, honest. They looked more at my people skills, work ethic, and willingness to learn than the gap in my resume from being a stay at home mom.

Why do you feel undervalued and what would make you feel better about your compensation?

I feel undervalued because the new owners expect us to do more work than is possible during our shift. They don't want us to work overtime, but are angry when we cant finish what they've told us. Its not a matter of us not working hard, its that they're expectations are impssible with a small staff.

What are some of the best things about your team?

We help each other when needed. We have a shortage of some necessary items, so we share and make sure a coworker has a necessary item when needed. Our managers delegate tasks based on who enjoys or excels at the task, so we feel valued and heard, but we also will trade if another coworker needs to.
