Review from Sales Dept

We create a cohesive and healthy environment through good communication while working hard and having fun at the same time.

Review from Product Dept

I have worked at a lot of places, in the management department as close to store manager, and across a variety of food/grocery places, becoming servsafe certified to work in kitchens. I am a manager at our local grocery outlet in most of the departments but go by person in charge. It could use work.

Review from Sales Dept

They have a shared passion for the company's ability to continually offer up unique items

Review from Customer Support Dept

They are always willing and happy to help out in whatever capacity that is needed. Also my store is big on helping the community.

What does the leadership team need to get better at?

Anything. Helping their employees mostly

The leadership team could improve by providing clearer communication, consistent scheduling, and fair treatment across all staff. More attention to employee feedback and aligning shifts with stated availability would create a stronger, more supportive work environment.

Communication and having a positive team environment

Work ethics, unbiased & unprejudice judgement and treatment towards employees.

Team meetings so everyone knows what is going on

Taking respossiblity for serious matters, and showing more appriciation towards employees.

They say to do then disobey their own rules

Actually investigate the store and pull up any records because nothing has changed since ive worked there, which was a year and a half

Communicating expectations with employees. Yeah.

Review from Operations Dept

Running a store and communication with employees

Keep it professional. There is no reason to bring your personal life into work. It makes it easier for employees to gauge whether or not you will use the conversation as a bookmark to shun us later for.

They need to understand communication

Reprimanding employees who violate store policies.

Review from Sales Dept

how they treat employess its sad

Review from Sales Dept

The company needs to get better at communicating

Review from Operations Dept

Appreciating every other person who works there, and having backup ideas when someone cant make it into work beacuse they have personal issues going on

The leadership at GOI is horrible, especially with Tom McMahon in Southern California. Grocery Outlet uses good ole boy tactics when it comes to so many decisions they make. The inventory situation is a complete joke. They purposely mispick and mis price items to mess with the operators.

My boss needs to become less robotic and more human. Also he smells realy bad most days sadly.

Training there new employees better

They need to be better at communicating and trusting their team.
