Grocery Outlet Team Employee Reviews

What are some of the best things about your team?

Some of the best things about my team were their willingness to help when needed, their sense of humor during long shifts, and the ability to work together to get tasks done efficiently even when the store was busy or short-staffed.

Most are hardworkers, friendly, and professionals however, most team members are experiencing same treatment from owners as myself.

We work together well they are hard workers not being appreciated or paid enough for what they do.

Some really nice and hard working people there

We work together to make our jobs easier

Review from Product Dept

Hard working, Collabortive, relationship oriented and fun!

We get along so good we watch out for eaxh other

Review from Product Dept

Good teamwork and very nice to work with

We help each other when needed. We have a shortage of some necessary items, so we share and make sure a coworker has a necessary item when needed. Our managers delegate tasks based on who enjoys or excels at the task, so we feel valued and heard, but we also will trade if another coworker needs to.

Nothing. My co-workers worked there for years and still got paid so little, they gave great customer service and still didnt get payed enough

works well together, like family

Review from Sales Dept

They are helpful and friendly

Review from Sales Dept

We have a strong crew and take our jobs seriously and provide the customers with an awesome experiance.

Review from Sales Dept

Review from Sales Dept

Everyone is easy to work with

We get along really well and work well together.

Review from Operations Dept

We work hard and have fun at the same time. No drama.

Review from Product Dept

The team as a whole does the best they can with the way times are now. With the wage laws....with people being allowed to bring their pets into the store without us saying anything about it but still have to clean up the mess and can't even have the privacy to rant on our own fb for keeping face.

Review from Sales Dept

We all work seamlessly as a team without any drama or politics. The communication is very good.

Review from Customer Support Dept

My team is upbeat, caring, and works to be better.

Review from Sales Dept

What do your coworkers need to improve and how could you work together better?

There were no meetings to be had

Be friendly and accepting to all

We aren't allowed to associate or make plans. It's go there do this u look un occupied right now go do this person's job they didn't do. It's fully and whole heartily a sweat shop. You need to fix this It's just wrong. 10 min breaks paid alone and 30 min breaks with no contact unpaid.

CUSTOMER SERVICE AS WELL AS COMMUNICATION

they just need to be treated witn respect by our bosses

Review from Sales Dept

They're alwas saying "ask for help" "don't be afraid to ask for help" and then they tell you "that's not my deppartment, not my business"

Keep it professional. If you want to have a private conversation or be joking about stuff, do not run off to a manager or owner saying something out of context which makes people look bad.

As an IO (Independent Operator) we are all competetive with each other, some stores are only 5 miles from each other. GOI always talks about the "Operator Community" like its a valuble piece of the puzzle when we really just want each other to fail.

Coworkers need to stop creating a HOSTILE WORK ENVIRONMENT. Coworkers need to stop threatening to physically assault other coworkers.

Review from Sales Dept

Get rid of the owners

Review from Customer Support Dept

they need to just leave the whole town

Review from Customer Support Dept

At my store location, there is constant workplace drama. It doesn't help that management refuses to punish workers for shirking their duties or fighting unnecessarily amongst themselves.

COMUNICATION FROM MANAGEMENT.. employees are not informed of anything. They have to hear it from other employees..
