Guitar Center – Corporate doesn’t NOT under ANY circumstances care about the people (store employee) that keep the franchise a float

Guitar Center Claimed Company
"We have always known that our success comes from our people, but to put it through this lens, we want all our associates to look left and right and see themselves, knowing that Guitar Center is a place where hard work, good ideas, and culture thrive. What they hear from leadership needs to reflect this vision. That means a diverse collection of men, women of all backgrounds and experiences at all levels of our organization. As candidates consider Guitar Center, we want them to know this is who we are and they will feel welcomed here. That’s how we will continue to stick around for another 40, 50, 60 years."? - Ron Japinga, CEO, Guitar Center read more

Corporate doesn’t NOT under ANY circumstances care about the people (store employee) that keep the franchise a float

What do your coworkers need to improve and how could you work together better?

We work together fine. Obviously you have a few bad eggs but it’s normally s very easy and fun place

What does the leadership team need to get better at?

At the store level everything is great! 10/10 but at the corporate office it seems like none have them haven even walked into a store

What's going wrong and how can it be improved?

Pay the people that keep the franchise in business like they matter so GC does not have a average turn around of 1 week to 2 months. VERY rarely does anybody last longer
