Handy Compensation Employee Reviews

What is the best part about your compensation package?

Salary is very competitive. Lots of small perk

I don't know of any compensation package. I guess that's an opportunity. Push this info to the ppl doing work to build the company...

It good money that I can live on

Really good pay the job pay good

U can make good money

Nothing bad that I can say

Handy pays high performers in the top 75%+ of market

Why do you feel undervalued and what would make you feel better about your compensation?

They have to understand workers better cause to work everywhere by taking the Bus us not easy, just have more understanding.

The whole system and operations of handy stinks and clearly needs to better management and team buidling skills. Not sure how handy made it this far with the lack of communication and everything completed via email/live chat. That method doesn't work especially during emergency situations

No jobs in my area, My very first job was 49 miles away, and costed me money to do, then I didn't get paid for my efforts. The support was nonexistent. I felt blown off, and ripped off.

If the company didn't take over half the customers money for themselves. I drove, brought tools, and did labor for clients. I should be able to keep at least 95% of the earnings. Alot of the time I have to manage times with client but handy is not flexible like Task Rabbit is.

They get the bigger cut while we deal with being under paid.

Penality fees are too high, and the company should not charge you when they make a mistake. The company charges you for their errors and client errors. They should take more time to investigate matters before giving out strict penalties. It is misuse of Power.

If they actually cared. But they don't all they care about is money.

Pay me for the time I have to work

Any sort of cost-of-living raise. Yearly bonuses that aren't stock options that vest years from being received. This last point can't be overstated: they will take away all of your options upon layoff/dismissal. It's worthless paper with a fancy "IOU" written on it.

They don't pay enough and overcharged the customer

being able to talk to a real person

THERE IS NO COMMUNICATION, whole company is just a complete sad joke for workers and customers

If I didn't have to call every time I need my pay adjusted for a job and if there was a better way to communicate with the office better

I feel like a number that is simply disposable at any moment. I feel that compensation should be between client and customer.

Not being paid at market rate
