What does the leadership team need to get better at?

Leadership Reviews

Stop being so greedy and takinf 50-80% of the job pay.

Supporting their staff and there needs to be better communication support such as a phone to actually speak to a live person verses emails or live chats

I I can't believe they're actually able to get away with ripping people off like this

Everything. Communication. Not just sending a link to the articles that are already in the app. There is a lack of specific scenarios that happen at each job and the articles and solutions handy provides does not include the scenarios I've run into

Follow the procedures of Handy to a t. Understand that the customer is not always right, and separate reviews for the company from pro reviews so that the pro isn't getting damaged ratings over the company's failure.

Why do you feel undervalued and what would make you feel better about your compensation?

Compensation Reviews

They have to understand workers better cause to work everywhere by taking the Bus us not easy, just have more understanding.

The whole system and operations of handy stinks and clearly needs to better management and team buidling skills. Not sure how handy made it this far with the lack of communication and everything completed via email/live chat. That method doesn't work especially during emergency situations

No jobs in my area, My very first job was 49 miles away, and costed me money to do, then I didn't get paid for my efforts. The support was nonexistent. I felt blown off, and ripped off.

If the company didn't take over half the customers money for themselves. I drove, brought tools, and did labor for clients. I should be able to keep at least 95% of the earnings. Alot of the time I have to manage times with client but handy is not flexible like Task Rabbit is.

They get the bigger cut while we deal with being under paid.

What do your coworkers need to improve and how could you work together better?

Team Reviews

All we do is conversation about how handy takes advantage of us

Yeah they need somebody else to run the company that knows what they're doing.

They could stop giving scripted answers and treat pros better.

The service adviser need to be assessed better for their quality of work

Make communications be via telephone so we aren't talking via email and waiting up to 72 hours for a reply back if at all!!

What needs to change to make the company culture better?

Environment Reviews

An actual building in the state of Massachusetts would be nice for restocking on cleaning products, staff support, and quarterly meetings/trainings/team building

Pay safety communication and transparency

Make it less Narcissistic and inhumane

C-Suite must communicate honestly with the workforce. HR leadership, in particular, really puts the "Resource" in Human Resources; they'd take a pickaxe to us if they thought we all had a gold nugget inside us.

All new management and better policies

What would you improve about your company's interview process?

Interviews Reviews

Everything handy needs to change alot

It's not the interviewer the people actually they want more people so it's easy to get a job there because the more people they have working for them the more people they can rip off.

Hire people who can better communicate

being able to talk to a real person

What's going wrong and how can it be improved?

Outlook Reviews

To talk a live human person

The customers need to be honest what exactly they want and a picture should be mandatory for cleaning or fixing what needs to be completed especially if they're reporting if it takes 2 hrs but it's actually a 5 hour job. Getting paid $15.00 for when the customer canceling when you're on your way

There's no flexibility with handy, handy and it's partner companies fail to give details about jobs and have technical difficulties in the app. Handy is also stealing money from pros who go to the job and follow policy. I see the app taskrabbit surpassing handy in the future.

Poor communication and failure to give enough details for jobs before pro shows up for the work, and clients give a review it's for the company and the pro so the pro ends up taking damage to their ratings because of the company's failures. Need to separate reviews for pro versus the company.

Better communication and pay !
