Harbor Freight Tools Compensation Employee Reviews

What is the best part about your compensation package?

the discount and and great job it's how they treat co workers

Compensation I feel could be higher for Management, it is not equivalent nor more than other Companies that i am aware of.

Great benefits compare to what I used to have

Health and retirement and the hud to find things and help when needed

Review from Sales Dept

Great benefits, paid time off, and bonuses.

Medical insurance is quite good.

I don't have a compensation package as a retail worker.

Harbor freight offers paid leave for new parents & their s/os. They also offer free counceling for wvery employee. Also, part time employees can apply for benefits such as health insurance & STD!

Review from Sales Dept

Great coverage on many things

Everything is good and benefits

All of is it good

Needs more management in the facility

Benefit costs have not risen in past 5 years and offerings only have gotten better

Review from HR Dept

I need to use the rapid plus that's it

I feel valued as an employee

Healthcare is good. The 401k recently improved

The bonus is very nice

Paid leave bonuses and sick time

I believe it is very fair

great rate for part time employees

Review from Customer Support Dept

Why do you feel undervalued and what would make you feel better about your compensation?

better training for managers on how to treat there employees

The company has billions of dollars, consider paying the cost living. Ensure management is more professional and can actually perform their role outside of their own manager being present to watch.

We sell esps at almost 50 % on some items but don't see commissions. So technically it's retail not sales.

I’m not offended the benefi

Better management and support. And appreciation.

You give bare minimum hours and pay but expect maximum amount of work. Doesn't work that way. A manager telling you hard work doesn't mean anything. He says he has to be fair with hours but me being the only girl I keep getting the least.

Cashiers and logistics get same pay, no matter if you have experience or not. Logistics stays until 10pm working truck while cashiers leave at 8pm

As part of leadership team and I could go to just about any where and make same compensation hourly

a fair chance to grow in the company

Better store discounts and perks

Review from Sales Dept

Its cool but riding you back is not motivation

Pay us better so we can live

A raise for every associate

Them helping me more and understanding plus better pay to servive

Paid more and a bonus i dont think its fair i get the metrics but not that bonus that the managers get

Review from Customer Success Dept

Better pay, not enough hours to live on. Tears your body down o. Truck day, need to do group stretching

Associates should be givin something when there store does good because supervisors and above do even though the assocites bring in the stats.

Logistics part time are paid the same as sales, even though it's harder work

I think the pay should be better for all we have to do!

I didn't understand this question entirely. I would have to do more research.
