HCA Healthcare Compensation Employee Reviews

What is the best part about your compensation package?

Flexible options for schwduling. Also very flexible with health insurance coverage options.

Posted 14 days ago

It is fair and comprehensive

I like the health care being not to expensice

Hard to believe a healthcare company but be so stingy with health and retirement benefits.

The best part about my comp compensation package is it affordable?

I like the Health care coverage

Review from Admin Dept

Medical insurance and tuition reimbursement

My overtime when I worked it.

The compensation is ok but it can be better.

401k plan has helped me get to retirement sooner

401k and stock options nice

While we would all like more money, the compensation package is competitive.

It is a very comprejensive package.

Review from Operations Dept

great benefit plans offered for both staff members and their family members

The compensation has been good so far

I like the medical plan and pricing

I thoroughly enjoy having PTO.

Bonus and Equity structure are better than average.

There is the ability to get bonus

stock options, health insurance, etc.

Why do you feel undervalued and what would make you feel better about your compensation?

At a healthcare company I was hoping for a better deal/value on health benefits.

I work in one of the largest medical centers in the country. Pay in this company is not competitive and employee retention is hard.

Review from Operations Dept

Wages and benefits should be competitive with the local health system 30 min away. They are only a 20th of the size, so HCA should be able to leverage its economy of scale.

they pay less than other similar positions and my position is high stress.

We pay the least in this area. Directors brag about "HCA setting the bar for lower pay".

Pt ratio is unsafe people don't get represented for things they should be putting the extra load on the people that work.

Competitive wages and merit raises.

Lower pay than other healthcare companies, required use of PTO for holidays when the clinic is closed always, and the new requirement that if you can't get a fill in replacement for your shift you can't have vacation.

Pay your employees what they're worth

Pay scale is low , our health insurance has a high deductible!

At least do an annual match with the local market.

Low pay and no bonuses

Paid holidays, more time off, higher salary

Increased PTO, merit bonuses would also be appreciated

Health Insurance is too expensive.

Management listen to employees and not micro managed.

too much work, not enough compensation. I'm told it's an "expectation" to go above and beyond the scope of my role, yet do not get anything other than an attaboy when meeting that "expectation". its ridiculous

its not compensation, HCA manages to stay just below market rates in terms of pay. its how poorly they treat employees.

Review from Operations Dept

HCA offers the lowest rate tyat they can within the pay grade regardless of your experience to save them money.

Better salary, better healthcare benefits, equitable 401K matching.
