I think training can be better and Supervisor should listen more
Review from Admin Dept
They have good comunication with the team
My manager encourages feedback about how they are doing
They care about their employees and invest time and money into helping them be successful and advancem in their career
They are supportive and available.
Leadership in a company this big is tough, they do a good job
They need to listen to their employees
Communicating, avocation for patients and employee, team management, hiring, performance in all areas, being human, all the things you would expect out of any leadership team
Communication the promises that they make keeping them and not first two completely humiliate, one of their own because the new girl starts and has some past beef with you through a friend
Teamwork. Helping when it's needed. Understanding the employees concerns and problems.
Communication. The organization as a whole is top heavy and there are a lot of conflicting instructions exacerbated by unclear and undefined roles and responsibilities.

Flexible options for schwduling. Also very flexible with health insurance coverage options.

It is fair and comprehensive
I like the health care being not to expensice
Hard to believe a healthcare company but be so stingy with health and retirement benefits.
The best part about my comp compensation package is it affordable?
At a healthcare company I was hoping for a better deal/value on health benefits.
I work in one of the largest medical centers in the country. Pay in this company is not competitive and employee retention is hard.
Review from Operations Dept
Wages and benefits should be competitive with the local health system 30 min away. They are only a 20th of the size, so HCA should be able to leverage its economy of scale.
they pay less than other similar positions and my position is high stress.
We pay the least in this area. Directors brag about "HCA setting the bar for lower pay".
My everyday team is great. Everyone does their job without question and is always willing to help others when needed. They are quite literally all in the same boat of being shafted by HCA as well even though our office is ALWAYS in financial surplus with very high rating.
Review from Operations Dept
The best part of our team is we work together
Some of my coworker are very helpful and considerate
Review from Admin Dept
Everyone cares about the collective success and chips in the help
We don't have meetings, we don't even have real managing managers and directors. Directors are picking up other departments because they have fired about three huge department, heads and a handful of managers.
My coworkers were good. They worked hard.
They really need more organization
Review from Operations Dept
Managers need to tell the fine print on incentive pay holiday pay and how it really works
Fire people that have been reported numerous times and comtinue to create an unsafe and hostile work environment
Alot of travelers who could care less about patient care!!
My office and hospital are run by an excellent team of executives who promote a sense of family, despite the fact that HCA corporate does not care one iota about their employees/physicians and are completely out of touch
You must have team work to survive. Each floor does that.
Fum coworkers and caring leadership
We are happy together at the end of our shift and we express thankfulness to each other.
There is support for each other, even when things aren't working quite right.
The whole profit at any price has to change.
There needs to buy more help for managers to come in at night even if they are dayshift managers I've never seen a single one come in on the Night Shift to help when we are extremely short staffed, but dayshift will have 18 or 19 people on there night shift will have about six
Reward hard working dedicated employees and not those that are just the friends with management.
leadership change at the corporate to division level
Review from Executive Dept
We are treated like the misfit toys on misfit island.
The have a great sales pitch
Personable approach. Very disarming and desired to get to know me and if I was a fit vs trying to trick me with hard interview questions
Review from IT Dept
It went smoothy love the questions that were asked
Review from Admin Dept
Informal and included several rounds of panel interviews
Everyone showed happiness to hire me.
Took too long to hear back and the whole process was half a year.
They never said a single word truth. Mostly lied aboit everything , manager is a coneartist
Timely call backs. Have manager available for interviews
More transparency about actual hours worked.
Review from Finance Dept
Be honest about the challenges: low quality fellow employees/management and self-serving corporate structure.
The team i work with
The easy money most days
I like what i do and i love interacting with the patients making a difference through the phone
Review from Admin Dept
Helping my team , coworkers and company successfully help patients
Knowing that the other people that came to work are there to work and are doing their job and I'm not doing the job of more than one person trying to make sure that people stay alive
leadership change at the corporate and division level; value based leadership is needed
Review from Executive Dept
No work life balance for employees.
Review from Finance Dept
HCA has a reputation for not caring about its customers/patients/employees.
HCA will continue to go downhill. its impossible to succeed at HCA. IMPOSSIBLE.
Review from Operations Dept
MANAGEMENT IS HORRIBLE. Very stressful work environment.
Allows us 2 hours per month to do volunteer work.
Review from Operations Dept
The PTO policy. It's abysmal for a company this profitable.
